Who is behind this tree service?
We're a small tree crew based on Spring Street. The people who give you the estimate are the same people who show up with the saws, so nothing gets lost between the sales pitch and the job. Most of our work is residential, from pruning shade trees over a patio to a removal wedged between two houses.
How do we price tree work?
Every tree job gets priced in person, in writing, before we start. The price covers the work, the cleanup, and the hauling you asked for. If we find something unexpected once a climber is up in the tree, like hidden rot, we stop and talk to you before anything changes.
What does our crew do to protect your property?
Our crew protects your property by planning each cut before it's made. Heavy wood gets lowered on ropes over roofs and gardens. We lay plywood where equipment crosses the lawn, and the chipper stays on hard surfaces. At the end of the day the driveway, beds, and grass get raked and blown clean.
Why does local knowledge matter in tree care?
Local knowledge matters because the trees, soil, and storms here are specific. Knowing that oaks shouldn't be pruned in early summer because of oak wilt, or that beech leaf disease is moving through the neighborhood, changes the advice you get. So does knowing how sandy hillside soil behaves after a week of rain near the harbor.
Are we licensed and insured?
Yes. We're licensed and carry liability insurance, and we're glad to send proof before any work begins. Hiring an uninsured tree crew can leave the homeowner responsible if someone gets hurt or property gets damaged.
